🔐 Google Account Login Steps

Step 1: Open the Google login page

1. Open a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc. Chrome is recommended)
2. Enter https://gemini.google.com in the address bar
3. Press Enter to access the Google account login page
4. The page displays the title "Sign in to your Google Account"

Step 2: Enter your email address
1. Enter: [email protected] in the "Email address or phone number" input field
2. Check whether the email address was entered correctly
3. Click the blue "Next (Next)" button
4. Wait for the page to redirect (approximately 1-2 seconds)

Step 3: Enter the password
1. The page displays 「Welcome back」 and your email address
2. In the 「Enter your password (Enter your password)」 input field, enter: xxxxx
3. Check whether the password was entered correctly (pay attention to uppercase and lowercase)
4. Click the blue 「Next (Next)」 button
5. Wait for the page to redirect

Step 4: Enter the two-step verification page
1. The page displays the title 「2-Step Verification (2-Step Verification)」
2. It prompts 「Please enter the 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app」 or [Get the verification code from the Google Authenticator app]
3. Do not close this page at this time; keep it open

Step 5: Obtain the verification code
1. Open a new tab
- Press Ctrl➕T (Windows) or Cmd➕ T (Mac)
- Or right-click the blank space on the browser tab bar → select 「New Tab (New Tab)」
2. Visit the 2FA address
- Copy the address: https://2fa.run/2fa/xxxxxxxxx
- Paste it into the address bar of the new tab and press Enter
3. View the verification code page
- The page displays a 6-digit verification code
- A countdown (30 seconds) is displayed below the verification code
- For example: 123 456 or 654321
4. Copy the verification code
- Method 1: Click the verification code directly to copy it automatically
- Method 2: Select the numbers, then press Ctrl➕C (Windows) or Cmd➕C (Mac)

Step 6: Enter the verification code to complete login
1. Return to the login page
- Click the browser tab to switch back to the Google login page
- Or press Ctrl➕Tab to switch tabs
2. Paste the verification code
- Click in the 「Enter code」 input field
- Press Ctrl ➕ V (Windows) or Cmd➕ V (Mac) to paste
- Or manually enter the 6-digit number
3. Complete verification
- Click the blue 「Next」 button or press Enter directly
- The page displays a loading animation (approximately 2-3 seconds)
4. Login successful
- Enter the Google account homepage or the service you want to access
- The account avatar appears in the upper-right corner

🔑 Step 7: Add a Passkey
It is recommended to set this up immediately after the first successful login. This can significantly improve account security and reduce reliance on passwords and verification codes the next time you log in.
1. Open the Google Security settings page
1. Keep the current account logged in
2. Enter the following in the browser address bar:
https://myaccount.google.com/security
3. Press Enter to open the 「Security」 page
4. Scroll down to find the 「Sign in to Google」 section
2. Open the Passkey management page
1. In the 「Sign in to Google」 section, click:
「Passkeys」
2. The page will display the verification methods available for the current account
3. Click 「Create a passkey」 or 「Add a Passkey」
3. Choose a creation method

Google usually provides three methods. You can choose one based on your device:

Method 1: Create a passkey using the current device (most common)
- A system window will pop up
- Select 「Use Windows Hello / Touch ID / fingerprint / facial recognition」
- Complete verification as prompted (for example, use your fingerprint or enter your computer login password)
- A passkey will be generated automatically once complete

Method Two: Use Your Phone as a Passkey
Applicable when operating on a computer but using your phone for verification:
1. The page displays “Use one of your phones to create a passkey”
2. Select your phone (you must be logged in to the same Google account)
3. Your phone will receive a verification prompt
4. Confirm on your phone using your fingerprint/face recognition/screen lock
5. The computer displays completion

Method Three: Use a Security Key (Security Key)
If you have a physical USB/NFC key:
1. Insert the security key
2. Touch or press the button as prompted
3. Complete creation
4. Complete setup
1. The page displays “Passkey created”
2. The list will display:
- Device name (such as “MacBook Air” or “Windows PC”)
- Creation date
3. Confirm that the device record is correct

💡 Login Tips

1. Save the 2FA address
- Add https://2fa.run/2fa/xxxxxxxxx to your browser bookmarks
- Click the bookmark directly to open it next time you log in
2. Use two windows
- Left window: Google login page
- Right window: 2FA verification code page
- More convenient for viewing and copying
3. Verification code validity management
- Each verification code is valid for 30 seconds
- It is recommended to use it when more than 15 seconds remain
- When the countdown approaches 0, wait for a new verification code to be generated
4. Password manager
- Use the browser’s built-in or a third-party password manager
- Save your email address, password, and 2FA address
